Abstract: In 1902, encouraged by territorial politics and boomtown expansion, pioneer journalist Frank Hilton Greer constructed the Oklahoma State Capital Building in downtown Guthrie. Today, that landmark structure is preserved and open to the public as the State Capital Publishing Museum. Curator Lloyd C. Lentz, III, traces the evolution of the building from dream to museum.
